result was a group of artists that transcend
their perceived genre. The monograms created
relate to their work in a certain visual
manner without simply illustrating letters

Nilsson, Michael A. McMillan, and M.K. Brown
Cartoon Adjacent Artist Postcards is yet another assignment for Richard Mehl's
Advanced Type class. We were asked to create five monograms for individuals from
history. I chose to create a set of postcards, Risograph print the work of five artists
